About the Art:
This painting was inspired by my trip to southern Spain where these tiles are present all through the Andalusia region. Borrowing inspiration from Talavera Tiles which originated in Spain, were influenced by the Moorish control of this region, and eventually traveled to the new world taking on a new home in Puebla, Mexico.
